Lana’s Nina Testimonial (transcribed):
I can't tell you actually the year that I met her, but she is the reason why I'm in Bryn Athyn. Well, maybe not the exact reason. Obviously, I married Blake, but she's one of the reasons I am where I am right now, just in my career, spiritually, socially. She was the one that invited me to a Mom’s and Tots event. I lived in Philly in 2017 and had my first daughter there. I would drive the hour from and to Byrn Athn to attend to Moms and Tots at the Cathedral. So, that's how I got to know Nina. And then I just remember her walking around at Bounty when it was in the old elementary school parking lot, handing out flyers. Like, that was like my image of Nina, just community outreach, literally doing guerilla marketing. I've just been so blessed because she has always been a cheerleader for me and the things that I do. She was also the one who thought of me for my role in the General Assembly at the kids program director. So, I got to work on that amazing team and the General Assembly in terms of planning. So that was amazing. Since then, I’ve been able to work with her at the Bryn Athyn Church in a variety of programs. She's so many things in my life. She's a friend, first and foremost, a colleague - she’s a part of my Community of Saints. I remember a fellow mom describing her as the ultimate “Bryn Athyn Mom” -where you just see her and you just feel loved. She'll give you a nice warm hug and a smile and see how you're doing. I feel like she's like that image to so many people. And the reason why I just am here. I'm so happy to have her in my life.
